  • Invited talk to UMW delivered on “After Six Sigma—What's Next”

As part of an ongoing series of talks focused on Quality, Dr. Mullenix was invited to deliver a talk on the future of Six Sigma to the management of the UMW member companies.

Abstract: For over 15 years Six Sigma has been developing within industry.  Are we coming to the end of the Six Sigma era and if so, what is likely to follow in its wake?  In this talk we examine the state of Six Sigma, warts and beauty marks as well.  We probe what opportunities still remain as well as probe the future of Six Sigma and beyond.  We separate the fiction from the fact in a very informative wide open look at Six Sigma.  This talk is designed to give the industry leaders a truthful look at Six Sigma and where the trends lead so they can be better informed about their decision making.
